A little news from the dance world at American Ballroom and I hope everyone is doing well.
We are purchasing a new site for our dance studio, located at 1523 Parkway Avenue, Ewing, NJ 08628. It is a single standing building of 3000 sf. It is in a great location in a good neighbor hood with access from many locations. I have put deposits down and now waiting for the closing of the ownership about the middle of September. The process is very slow and we don’t know how long this stage will take. The next stage will be to get permits and an Architect to draw the changes we need for the dance studio. Then we can start finishing the interior so we have a place big enough to dance. I am looking around October sometime for us to be there.
We have had to do this due to the Firehouse wanting to rent the hall on Fridays, as you all know our party is on Fridays. Now we have 7 days a week to dance if we choose. No limits and no landlord, just the usual process of running a dance studio, which I have been doing here in Hamilton for the past three years, since moving here.

We also have a new addition to the family which we adopted from the Burlington County Animal Alliance at: (http://www.bcaaofnj.org) Her name is Gabby and she's quite a handful . She has a great personality, a lot of energy and loves her toys. They call her the monkey dog (an Affenpincher).
Joe Iorio is a gentleman I have gotten to know for the past two years that is a lady killer when it comes to dancing. Joe just had his 92nd birthday Friday March 7th and we celebrated it at the Hamilton senior center with his friends at the weekly dance class Fridays at 10am. He doesn't sit down during the entire one hour class and keeps up with the rest, even though they might be 20 years younger. We all need to have his attitude on life and take things in stride like he has for many years. Happy Birthday Joe from all your friends.
